Who these terms apply to
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Outreach, operated by afflu (afflu.ca). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service
Outreach connects to your Gmail or Microsoft Outlook account and helps you send personalized emails to a list of contacts. It includes AI-assisted email drafting, automated follow-up sequences, and reply detection.
Emails are sent from your own inbox using your own email address. afflu does not send emails on behalf of a shared domain or pool of users. You are the sender of record for all emails sent through the service.
Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Outreach. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google or Microsoft account, and for all activity that occurs through your Outreach account.
You may only connect email accounts that you own and have the right to use. Do not connect accounts belonging to others without their explicit authorization.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Outreach only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:
- Send unsolicited commercial email (spam) in violation of applicable law, including CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or other anti-spam legislation in your jurisdiction.
- Send emails to people who have previously unsubscribed or asked not to be contacted.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.
- Send content that is threatening, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise harmful.
- Harvest or scrape email addresses without the consent of the individuals involved.
- Violate the terms of service of Google, Microsoft, or any other third-party platform.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are violating these terms, at our sole discretion.
Your responsibility as the sender
Because emails go out from your real inbox with your name on them, you are solely responsible for the content of emails sent through the service, the accuracy of your contact lists, compliance with all applicable email laws in your jurisdiction, and any disputes or complaints arising from emails you send.
afflu is a tool, not a sender. We are not responsible for how you use the service or what you send.
Subscription and payment
Outreach costs $25 USD per month. Payment is processed at the start of each billing period. You can cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
We do not offer refunds for partial months. If we increase pricing, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before the new price takes effect.
Availability and modifications
We aim to keep Outreach running reliably, but we don't guarantee uptime. The service is provided "as is." We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice and provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of your current billing period.
Intellectual property
You own everything you create using the service — your email content, your lead lists, your campaigns. You grant afflu a limited license to process and store that data solely to operate the service. We claim no ownership over your content.
The Outreach software, design, and brand are owned by afflu. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, afflu is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost revenue, lost data, or reputational harm — arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless afflu and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or emails you send using Outreach.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
